Gobles Elementary School

Genius Hour is a way for students to work on something they are passionate about. Fifth graders have been working on projects that include building a city in Minecraft, creating jewelry or clothes and determining how much materials would cost and how they could profit, creating unique arcade games, designing new sports shoes, and much, much more- the possibilities are endless! It is such a rewarding time for me and Ms. Verdine's students- the collaboration she hears from her students during this time and seeing their faces light up after they complete their project makes this hour-a-week project well worth it!
