Mrs. Stambek’s kindergarten classroom was extremely excited to learn about numbers this week while getting acquainted with one of their favorite book characters, Pete the Cat! During math time, students identified numbers, placed that specific number of buttons (Fruit Loops) on Pete’s shirt, practiced counting, and also measured Pete using goldfish crackers. I think it is safe to say that math is fun when Pete is involved!
