Seeking an individual with literacy knowledge who is able to present lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of literacy concepts at the K-5 level. The person should be able to work closely with the Title I Reading Teacher and other teachers in delivering one-on-one and small group support and interventions, as well as monitoring student progress and assisting with regular student assessment of literacy skills.
Knowledge of MTSS, DIBELS Reading Fluency assessments, STAR Reading and Early Literacy
assessments, literacy interventions, and best practices is desirable. Candidates should meet
“highly qualified” requirements, and/or must pass the Praxis Parapro Assessment. If interested,
