Gobles Public Schools

Thank you to the Gobles Board of Education for their countless hours and long nights working towards finding the next superintendent for Gobles Public Schools. Thank you to all of the candidates that applied and interviewed for the superintendent position, our small district had some amazingly qualified candidates that made the decision a very difficult one.

Thank you to the community for your input, thoughts, emails, phone calls, and meeting attendance. Your voice was heard and appreciated, and the Board took all of those into consideration. 

We had great public participation during our interview meetings, and the Gobles Board of Education chose to enter into negotiations with Mr. Jim Wiseley via a 6-0 vote. 
Contract ratification took place at an Open Special Board of Education meeting on Monday March 21, 2022 where the Board of Education voted unanimously in a 7-0 vote to hire Mr. Jim Wiseley. Mr. Wiseley, a Gobles alumni and former teacher/coach returns to our district after recently serving two years as the Superintendent of Constantine Public Schools and prior to Constantine he was an administrator for River Valley Public Schools. We look forward to him serving our district!

I would like to formally introduce and welcome Mr. Jim Wiseley as our new Gobles Public Schools Superintendent effective as of July 1, 2022. Please welcome Jim back to our district, I'm sure he would be happy to hear from you!
