Legendary Teacher Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of September each year. This year Legendary Teacher Day is Thursday, September 23, 2021. This day of tribute to teachers was started in 2014 by Gobles Alumnus and Retired Superintendent, Dr. Nicholas Clement. The concept of Legendary Teacher Day is that everyone has had that one teacher in their school or life experience that went above and beyond to invest in their learning and education. On Monday, September 13, 2021, the Gobles Board of Education adopted a resolution supporting Legendary Teacher Day. The school community is encouraged to reflect on who their Legendary Teacher is and to reach out to that person if possible to let them know the difference that they made.
