Criteria:

1. The goal of this scholarship is to encourage a student that has been an active member of the Gobles High School Band, to pursue music and/or band in college. The recipient may be enrolled in a two year community college or in a 4 year college program.

2. The student must be a Gobles High School graduating senior and had been enrolled and an active member in the Band program(s) during their senior year.

3. The student must have a minimum G.P.A of 2.5.

4. The student must have portrayed excellent citizenship.

5. The student must have shown community and school participation.

6. The student must have demonstrated exemplary participation and demeanor.

Selection Committee:
The selection committee shall consist of the following members:

1. The high school principal

2. The high school counselor

3. The Band Director

Scholarship Amount and Presentation:

1. The scholarship shall be annually and be of $1,000.00 per year in one award to one student.

2. The Ron Warren Memorial Band Scholarship will be awarded annually during the graduation program each year by the benefactor and husband of Ron Warren, Scott Claudin.
