Tim Healy graduated from Gobles High School in 1981 and was a person defined by his compassion and dedication to helping others. Among his many passions, serving people in times of need stood above all. Tim devoted twelve years to the medical field, including three years as an instructor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, where he helped shape and inspire future healthcare professionals.

Scholarship Criteria

In memory of Tim and his lifelong commitment to service, his family established this scholarship to ensure that his legacy of caring continues beyond his passing in 2025. 

• This scholarship will be awarded to a caring and compassionate individual who plans to enroll in a medical or EMT program following graduation. It is intended to support students who share Tim’s passion for helping others and who demonstrate a commitment to serving their community.

Scholarship Details

• The first annual Tim Healy Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a member of the Class of 2026 in the amount of $500. 

• Beginning the following year, one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded annually.
