MS/HS Homecoming Events!

On Monday, November the 8th, and again on Wednesday, November the 10th, we will be hosting Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences will take place in the teacher’s classroom, by appointment. To secure a Parent-Teacher Conference appointment, log onto the Gobles Public Schools website, and navigate to the Middle/High School page. This can be done by selecting the tab in the upper right-hand corner titled “Schools”. Once in the Middle/High School page, select the Students tab at the top of the page, and then select the MS-HS Teacher Pages link from the drop-down menu. Once you have arrived to the Teacher Pages, simply select the teacher you would like to set an appointment with by clicking on their picture; this will take you to the individual Teacher’s Page. On each of the teacher’s pages you should find a link to their calendar that will guide you through setting up a Parent-Teacher Conference appointment. You can make appointments with some, or all, of your student’s teachers. Finally, you will be given the option of the appoint being in-person held in the teacher’s classroom, virtual through Google Meet and/or Zoom, or a phone conference. If you are having trouble with this process, please do not hesitate to call or email the teacher. They can place you on their calendars manually. Thank you, and see you at conferences.

K-12 Assistant Principal – Gobles Public Schools is seeking a highly motivated person with a strong background and thorough preparation in Public School Administration. The successful candidate will have the ability to establish strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and the community. The candidate should be well read and have a thorough knowledge in student supervision, student discipline, and in student attendance; and have a proven record in teaching, learning, and in improving student achievement. Must hold an Administrative Certification from the State of Michigan, experience in administration and/or student supervision a plus, experience as a certified classroom teacher a must. Senior Parent Info Night, October 6, 6-8 PM: Mr. Saylor and Mrs. Trapp will provide useful information for seniors and their parents. This information includes school policies, important dates for seniors, scholarship searching, FAFSA, and college application information.

Going Merry Scholarship Search Engine: This search engine requires students to create an account and complete a survey and demographic info. With this information the search engine finds scholarship applications for students to complete. It will auto fill all of the demographic and student information for the application allowing students to write and save essays to reuse in other applications. Gobles 7th Grade Volleyball Coach Needed. Gobles is looking to hire a 7th grade girls volleyball coach for the 2021-2022 season. Candidates must have knowledge of the game of volleyball and the ability to teach the fundamentals of the game of volleyball.
