7th Grade Student Picture

The middle school art classes are getting in the holiday spirit early this year!  It has been a long-standing tradition that Mrs. Butler's art classes make cards for the packages that will be getting sent overseas by the local Blue Star Mothers group.  Each student will make a couple of cards and a couple of envelopes.  Due to long shipping times, the cards and packages will be getting sent out very early in November.  Mrs. Butler stated, "I know we are rushing the season, but it's for a good cause."  The National Honor Society members will also be signing cards and will make cards available to anyone in the community who comes in during the Blood Drive.    Several years ago, students were surprised when they received a thank-you from a young soldier who had graduated from Gobles years earlier.  He stated how nice it was to get something from where he grew up and went to school.  Sixth and seventh grade art rotation students made cards this year, here are a few of the kids with their artwork.
