Gobles Elementary School

Kindergarten students in Mrs. Tregloan’s class have been busy traveling around the world to learn about different Christmas traditions from England, Italy, Mexico, Germany, Sweden, and of course, our own USA.  Students compared holiday customs and symbols, traditional foods, and even learned to say “Merry Christmas” in several languages!  We were surprised to learn that many of our American traditions are shared with so many other countries around the world!  We wrapped up our unit by making a special Christmas tree with ornaments resembling the flags from the places we visited.  Feliz Navidad, Buon Natale, and Merry Christmas to all!
