It will not matter which project you choose, PowerPoint, research Paper, video, or others. There must be effort involved. Effort looks like the student has a fluid understanding of the material. Positive examples resemble students creating a rap and not using cards or teleprompts or PowerPoint’s summed up and alternative examples give. Negative examples include reading directly from the PowerPoint, not have constructive, attention getting slides, and videos that do inform viewers of the topics. During each presentation I will be writing down the positives and negatives for each project. When final grades are given you have the right to ask why you were given such a grade. It is my hope that when you are given the opportunity to work out side of the box, well you get out of the box and have fun with it. The grading for this project will include answering in your own words each question below. Each question is worth ten points, for a total of one hundred and fifty points. The catch is if you fail to answer a questions within your project completely you will receive negative ten points (-10). You will also have fifty points available for presentation. If you create a PowerPoint with lots of energy, presentation is done without cards and you have shown that you understand the information.
