- In your answer, you should explain the following: Block Grants, Project Grant, inherent powers, grant-in-aid program, delegated powers, concurrent powers, division of powers, federalism, exclusive powers, revenue sharing, privileges and immunities clause, implied powers, reserved powers, act of admission, extradition, and enabling act including how the Local, state, and federal governments work together
Create your own state
For this project, you must create your own territory, and describe the procedures to become a state. You must follow the restrictions concerning the creation of a new territory both in and outside of the territorial boundaries of the US. This project will include:
- Drafting your own constitution
- Describing your social and economic interests
- You need to have a capital city and an area for your country to exist.
- Describing your responsibilities as a state, and your interactions with federal government
- In your answer, you should explain the following: Block Grants, Project Grant, inherent powers, grant-in-aid program, delegated powers, concurrent powers, division of powers, federalism, exclusive powers, revenue sharing, privileges and immunities clause, implied powers, reserved powers, act of admission, extradition, and enabling act including how the Local, state, and federal governments work together
- You will present your case to the class to determine whether or not you will become a new state
