Gobles History Club
Dear Students/Parents/Guardians,
We are proud to announce the forth History Club trip for 2013. The purpose of this club is to educate students/Participants on different cultures and its affect/impact on the United States. Countries of Europe, Caribbean, and South America have had a direct impact on the ethnic make-up of our own country. Many of our own students can link their own heritage to these countries. It is vital that we start aggressively organizing the trip now, rather than later, allowing students an opportunity to raise funds needed for the trip. We will have numerous fundraisers to help meet the student’s financial needs. When students raise funds, they will return this money to Jim Wiseley. An account is then opened for each student. Payments are made towards their Explorica account. The history club does not pay directly to students.
NEW: college credits on Explorica tours.
If you're a student or teacher traveling with Explorica you can now earn fully-transferable college credits—or continuing education credits—by completing coursework in conjunction with your tour.
Simply register with Explorica's partner, Eastern Washington University, and select your Field Studies course. You'll then be required to complete a series of assignments before you travel, while you're away, and once you return.
It's a great way to enhance your resume, accelerate your career, and make the most of your Explorica adventure. So you'll not only get a valuable educational experience, but an official university transcript to go with it. We will talk about this at our next meeting.
