Mrs. Tubergan's Teacher Page
I have had the privilege to teach at Gobles Public Schools for the past 10 years, since 2008. I began my teaching career as a sixth grade teacher in the elementary school and transitioned to the middle school in 2013. I have the honor of educating Gobles Tigers and forming meaningful relationships with students, staff, and parents. This school year I have the unique opportunity to job share with Mrs. Heather Rhodes. We will be sharing a classroom and all duties of teaching. I will be working in the classroom Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Wednesday. I am originally from Zeeland, Michigan, where I graduated as a Zeeland Chix. I went on to attend Western Michigan University where I graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education, receiving minors in Social Studies and Language Arts. In December 2010 I graduated with my masters degree specializing in Incorporating Technology in the Classroom from Walden University. I now live in Hamilton with my wonderful husband, Casey, and our three beautiful children, Hudsen (5 years), Hadley (4 years) and Haven (2 years). I also have two dogs; Kiptyn, and Khloey. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, participating in church activities, volunteering, photography, and baking. Below you will find our weekly lesson plans and syllabus for each class. Students and parents should take the opportunity to make themselves aware of the Middle/High School handbook as well. This handbook can be found here: http://www.gobles.org/uploads/4/9/7/5/49755769/mshs_gobles_handbook_2016-2017.pdf Our lesson plans can be found here: planbook.com/planbook.html?t=1329094&k=Trhodes If you would like to follow our classroom on twitter, follow me: @tuberstu Social Studies Class Syllabus
