The Gobles United Methodist Women’s Group donated school and classroom supplies to Gobles Middle/High School at the beginning of the school year. They had two goals: to provide homeless students & students in financial need with school supplies such as binders, folders, pens, and pencils and to support Gobles teaching staff with supplies that teachers often pay for out of pocket, such as tissues and disinfecting wipes for the classroom, and poster board for projects.
The group works directly with the Intervention Specialist who identifies and supplies students with the donated items. Our school is extremely grateful that this group has decided to keep it’s charitable dollars local and support our students and teachers.
