Box Tops for Education – Starts September & ends in April

We ask all families to save their box tops. The money received is used to purchase items for the elementary school.

Gobles Elementary Parents Club


	Parents’ Club has been in existence and a part of our Elementary programs since 1974. It seems each year our efforts become more and more valued and appreciated by our students and teachers. Through various fundraising events and volunteer organizing we are able to provide students with extra materials and support we feel they need to achieve the quality education they deserve. Consider joining the Parents’ Club by volunteering your time throughout the year to help keep the Parents’ Club the important organization it is. Parents’ Club is proud to have purchased the following items last year: Senior Scholarship Developmental Kind. – Sixth grade field trips Student Planners Lunches for K - 6th graders during Track and Field days Track and Field Ribbons Teachers Spring Conferences Luncheon Art Supplies Playground Swings and installation Gifts for retiring teachers Reading Month Supplies Grandparents Day Pictures Anti-Bullying Program Teacher Wish List Financial Assistance to students affected by fire

	Fall Fund Raiser – September This is our main source of income. This is the only time throughout the school year that we ask the children to do the selling Box Tops for Education – starts September & ends in April We ask all families to save their box tops. The money received is used to purchase items for the elementary school. Teracycle recycling – All Year Collection bins are placed in the lunch room and updated letters sent home periodically for items we are collecting to earn $ for the school. Revenue is used to buy items for the school. Christmas Holiday Store – December This event will be for the children to do their Christmas shopping. Gifts will range from .25 cents to $8.00. Each gift will be put in a gift bag. Teacher Dinner – March In appreciation of our teachers and staff we provide a lunch during their conference days. Treat Fridays Parents’ Club volunteers sell and donate cupcakes ever Friday at a cost of $ .25. Revenue will pay for Track and Field lunch for all students in the elementary. Penny War The money will be used for additional school supplies where needed.

Meeting Dates for 2012/13

Parents’ Club meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Elementary Library.
