Two Board of Education Positions

Petitions are now being accepted for two (2) four year positions on the Gobles Public Schools Board of Education. Terms will begin on July 1, 2010 and expire on June 30, 2014. The positions are currently being held by Chris Hancox and Grachelle Sherburne and will expire on June 30, 2010.

Anyone interested in running for a position on the Gobles Public Schools Board of Education should pick up Nominating Petitions and Affidavit of Identify forms in the superintendent’s office or the Van Buren County Clerks office. Nominating Petitions, with a required minimum of 6, maximum of 20 signatures, and Affidavit of Identify forms must be filed with the County Clerk by Tuesday, February 9, 2010 before 4:00 p.m. The Annual School Election will be held on May 4, 2010.
